THIS IS NOT THE OFFICIAL U-CON 2006 WEBPAGE!
(Official site: www.ucon-gaming.org)

(See below for Special Announcements and other information.)

This site is being provided as a convenience for Warhorn users to allow them to browse the events schedule and muster tables in advance for U-CON 2006.

You MUST go to www.ucon-gaming.org to officially register and sign-up for events. The events listed on the webpage are the most up to date.

Judges are needed! If you are interested in judging any of the RPGA events at U-Con, please sign up at www.ucon-gaming.org/gm/rpga. Judges will receive free weekend badges, and those scheduled to judge 4 slots or more will receive free tickets for two slots at the con! (This includes non-RPGA events.)

If you are not interested in judging, but would still like to volunteer at U-CON, you can visit the Volunteer Page at http://ucon-gaming.org/volunteer/index.php for more information. Benefits are similar to those for judges.

Thank you for your time.

Venue/Lodging

U-Con has held a block of rooms at the Fairfield Inn by Marriot at 3285 S. Boardwalk Street, Ann Arbor. We have negotiated the room cost at $79 for either a king-size bed or a double room with two beds. Their phone number is (734)-995-5200, and ask for the "U-Con rate" when you make your reservation.
       Transportation

Some Parking Options:
You'll be able to park for free in the parking garage behind the Union after 6pm on Friday/Saturday and all day Sunday, but you need to have a plan during the day for Friday and Saturday. Some options you have:

1. Buy a BLUE parking pass for Saturday (~$9). U-CON hires a parking attendant each year to stand out in front of the garage and sell these passes to you. If you can afford it, this is *definitely* the best option.

2. If you're staying somewhere near a bus stop, you can use a city AATA bus. Routes #5 and #6 will drop you off right in front of the Michigan Union. Here's a route map: http://www.theride.org/systemmaps.asp. You can also let the computer plan your route for you here: http://routes.aata.org/.

3. Take your chances with the meters. There are parking meters all around the Ann Arbor area. They are highly coveted by all and it's difficult (but not imppossible) to find a spot.

4. Park downtown and walk. The closest parking garage I know if is Thompson, just north of William. Thompson steet is the road that goes right behind the student union. It's on the right hand side going North about 2.5 blocks from the student union.
