We have been invited to a trial event - being allowed to use 4 tables of Gaming space in the side room of the Pecan Creek Grill on the West side (energy corridor).
The manager would like to make $300 in food sales to cover the tables which would be taken up during our game slots. This is reasonable, if you have breakfast/lunch there, some drinks, a dessert... the owner will find himself very happy with us, I feel.
If we do NOT slot more than 2 tables, I will cancel the event, since I do not want to be responsible for the promised compensation out of pocket. They close somewhat early on Saturdays, so we're listing 1 slot of 5 hours, assuming a roughly 9:30 am starting time.
I have put in 1 slots of Living Forgotten Realms and 1 of Pathfinder Society. This allows for a mod that needs public play between now and Comicpalooza to be offered. We've put in 2 of 1-1 and 2-1 of Ashes of Athas, since my whole intent is to give a bunch of folks a better chance to play these, and gain story awards and perks before playing Chapter 3 at Comicpalooza. The first FOUR tables to fill will be run; the other 2 tables will then disappear, unless they offer us more space.
If this works out well and we need more space, to continue beyond this event, I will gladly find a bigger place and organize a larger Game Day for all of you, my fellow Gaming friends!
