Owlcon is an annual gaming convention dedicated to gaming that features board and card games, miniatures (historical, fantasy, and sci-fi), role-playing games (tabletop and live action), and related events (e.g., painting competition, movies). It is hosted by Fast Warp, a student run organization at Rice University, and is now the largest gaming convention in the Houston area.
LFR, AOA & PFS events will be run in the Baker College Commons. Check out the map below for parking locations that are relevant to the con.
This year, we will be offering the Battle Interactive that was run at Origins. Check out the gaming schedule and click on the BI scenario to get an idea of what we'll be doing. We will also be offering a small collection of related MYRE mods on Sunday.

Fair Warning: OwlCon takes place on campus at Rice University, and does not have any special arrangements this year with any hotels. For your convenience, we have provided some information below about some nearby hotels, but please be aware that there is no special pricing this year for OwlCon attendees, nor is OwlCon in any way associated with any of the hotels listed below. Some hotels may offer a special rate if you mention that you are attending a Rice event, but there are no guarantees.
