Extra Schedule Information Character Creation Guidelines for the Fall of Borgath (Dungeon Delve of Doom in honor of Phil Gunther) Allowed Races: ONLY the Core races from the Player’s Handbook, and the PGtA (No sub-races.) Allowed Classes: All classes the PC qualifies for from those listed in the Player’s Handbook, Complete Arcane, Complete Divine, Complete Adventurer, Complete Warrior, and the Dungeon Master’s Guide, Player’s Guide to Arcanis, Magic of Arcanis, Legacy of Damnation, Ssethregore, In the Coils of the Serpent, and Theocracy of Canceri except those listed below. Banned Classes: Any class with a “Large Size or greater” requirement; The Frenzied Berserker prestige class Banned Abilities and Feats: Psionics of ANY kind (feats, skills, items); Leadership Character Stats: Create a 10th level character using the nonstandard 32 point buy system listed in the DMG. (Stat 8 = 0 pts, 9=1, 10=2, 11=3, 12=4, 13=5, 14=6, 15=8, 16=10, 17=13, 18-16) Apply racial modifiers after Stat purchases. Add +1 to any stat for bumps at 4th and 8th levels. Character Gold and XP: * Characters have an extra 3,000 XP (past 10th level) to use if needed. * Characters start with 65,000 GP to purchase any item listed in the Player’s Handbook, Complete Arcane, Complete Divine, Complete Adventurer, Complete Warrior, and the Dungeon Master’s Guide. * Items may NOT be created (or purchased cheaper than list price) in ANY way. (ie. You may BUY a Scroll of Greater Invisibility, but NOT create one to save money.) * Items MAY be acquired through class abilities (ie. a Paladin’s mount does not need to be purchased, nor does a Druid’s animal companion. Kensai still must purchase their base signature weapon at Masterwork quality.) * Players may have some of their spells “pre-cast” the previous day at 8 p.m. (12 hours before the delve begins, at 8 a.m.) Allowed Alignments: Any Allowed Items: Any items from the Player’s Handbook, Complete Arcane, Complete Divine, Complete Adventurer, Complete Warrior, and the Dungeon Master’s Guide, Player’s Guide to Arcanis, Magic of Arcanis, Legacy of Damnation, Ssethregore, In the Coils of the Serpent, and Theocracy of Canceri except those listed below: Banned Items: Any item with Psionic abilities; the Candle of Invocation; any “cursed” items Players should have copies of books they are using at the table with them. COST: $1.00 to begin play. $1.00 to “resurrect” in 2 rounds outside the area where you just died. Die Bumps can be purchased at +1 for 4/$—maximum $2.00 for a +8 total. (Die bumps may only be used against Monsters, not against other player characters.) |
