A year ago, the planet of Khayyam managed to cast off the rule of the oppressive Kurga Caliphate and declare its independence. Suffering reverse after military reverse, the government of Khayyam has appealed to the nobles of House Hazat to save them, and the Hazat have responded- with full support from the Emperor's Imperial Cohort. Yet the Cohort is full of adventurers and the youngest sons of noble families, all of them looking to make a name for themselves. One of them, the Marquis Yuri Konstantin Decados, has ignored his superiors' orders and taken an army into the wilds of Khayyam, allegedly to carve out his own kingdom. The players are contacted by agents of the Emperor and asked to hunt down the Decados and remove him from his command.
Rules for the Victory Point system will be taught and pre-generated characters will be provided.

Mummy's Tomb Prize Tournament (D&D 3.5)

All players are expected to have some experience with the Warlord miniatures game. This experience may be gained at MegaCon by playing one of the Reaper Miniatures demo games before entering the qualifying round.
Though miniatures and other supplies will be provided by the Game Master, players may also bring their own 750 point troops. If there is no clear winner (based on points) after the final round has been played, a grand melee elimination round will decide the victor.

The Sleepers have sent your group into Salt Lake City to investigate and, if you find that Highglade is using magick to manipulate the masses, you have orders to silence him. Permanently.
