Project: Crusaders and Defenders International at Guns of August!
As part of the 'March to Marscon', Olympus Mons gaming is proud to be at 'Guns of August', which will take part during the weekend of August 10-12, 2012 in Williamsburg, VA. Guns of August is primarily a war/board gaming convention, but beginning last year they have begun to expand to RPGs and other events. As part of my commitment to support regional campaigns, I'm going to Guns, and I'm going to debut both of the remaining Crusader Post-campaign mods as well as a special 'sneak-peak' mod at the upcoming Defenders International Reboot campaign.

This is the information home for the Guns of August, the summer gaming convention in Williamsburg, VA hosted by the Old Dominion Military Society.
Our aim is to host a convention that features as many interesting participation games and events as possible, of interest to a broad range of gamers.
We feature primarily Miniatures Games and Board Games, but also support Board Games and Role Playing Games.
In addition to all the many games you can participate in, we offer a selection of excellent Hobby Vendors, as well as a complimentary hospitality suite.
We are going to offer a Flea Market this year, if you are interested be sure to check out the details.
This year, 2012, will be our third year for our Summer Convention, and we hope you can come and have a great time, gaming with us in the historic Colonial Capitol, Williamsburg, Virginia! |

Venue/Lodging
Since its first year, the Guns of August Convention has called the Holiday Inn Patriot Center, in Williamsburg, Virginia its home.
The Patriot is a very comfortable and attractive hotel, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is, in short, a great hotel for a gaming convention.
