Emerald Society 01-02: "An Evening of Wealth and Taste" (Living Arcanis - d20 System)
By Eric Gorman. Two years ago an expedition to the Corlathean Mountains was led by Beloc val'Emman and Lady Cilisia Dovitoni. They made tremendous discoveries, not the least of which was the recovery of a special artifact that creates maps of the lost First Imperium province of Chendo. Lady Cilisia Dovitoni has deciphered the maps and at least in theory now knows where all the ruins lie. In the normal course of events people would have fallen over each other for the prestige and rewards of being the first to excavate these First Imperium ruins. But of course, civil wars and threats of invasions complicate everything. Worse there are people in the scholarly world who believe an excavation in Chendo is a waste of effort. Despite these problems an upcoming gala may give Lady Cilisia a chance to make an excavation in Chendo a reality... This is a role-playing intensive module with multiple NPCs. Having access to many different favors may prove useful. Players or characters that prefer to use the sword as their primary negotiating tool may find the module unfulfilling or perhaps even impossible to complete. It is possible for a party with the right skills and attitude to successfully complete the module without ever making an attack roll. Most parties however will probably face serious combat at least once. PLEASE NOTE: Characters with the “Disfavor of Lady Dovitoni” from the low tier of the module Sibling Rivalry would not be hired and thus may not play this adventure. This STANDARD adventure is designed for characters of 1st through 14th level (APLs 2 through 13).

LA-HP4-06 "The Sacrifice of Generations" (Living Arcanis - d20 System)
By Henry Lopez. A man must be sacrificed now and again To provide for the next generation of men. --Amy Lowell What begins as a rescue mission for your patron quickly becomes much more crucial as the stars begin to align and Larissa's Web of Fate draws disparate forces together for a bloody confrontation that can only end in final death. Note: As the culmination of the Year 4 Hard Point Series, it is recommended that you play all the prior Year 4 Hard Points (not including LA-HP4-04 Visions of Lives Past) before playing this adventure. The story of this scenario draws upon events that reach all the way back to the beginning of the campaign, so if you have never played the Year 1 Hard Points, you might want to consider going through The Year of Ill-Harvest print product before playing this adventure (although doing so is not required). This adventure contains several extremely challenging combat encounters, so it is highly recommended that you play down if the party is not prepared to handle very difficult battles. This STANDARD adventure is designed for characters of 6th to 20th level (APLs 7 – 21). This is a two-round continuous-play adventure. Please be sure to allow for at least 8 hours in order to finish this scenario.

LA-IK-OCR-02-01 "The Shield of Sand" (Living Arcanis - d20 System)
By Malcolm Coull. A diplomatic contingent from the Elorii enclave of Entaris recently visited Grand Coryan for talks with the Emperor. LA-SP5-11 "Flowering of the Blood Vine" (Living Arcanis - d20 System)

Only the flowering of the blood vine to herald this doom, and none to pay the costs that must be paid to stem this terrible flow." The speaker, a woman, collapses, her eyes streaming tears of blood that ebb and flow with the slowing beat of her failing heart. Characters with levels in the Shaman class will most likely find this scenario particularly appealing. Having at least one PC in the party who is well-versed in various forms of knowledge, or who has the ability to discover lost lore, would be an asset in this adventure (but is not required). This STORY-FOCUSED scenario is designed for ALL characters (APLs are not used). Characters of all levels may participate and any mixture of character levels may play together in this scenario.
