This is the sign up and coordination for gaming events for the Genericon convention, including RPGA events. Each event is tagged with what kind of game it is, so you know.
Be sure to check your event descriptions to see if events take place in times outside of the normal slot or run over the end of the slot in question.
Genericon XX itself costs a mere 15 dollars if you pre-register (less for RPI students). This includes access to our convention, over 100 hours of anime, LARPs, Board and Card Games, and many other cool things.

Transportation
Please note that parking in the RPI area is limited before 5
PM on friday. After 5 PM most of the parking lots and parking meters
are open and free for the remainder of the weekend.
Driving Directions:
From the South:
Take I-87, the New York State Thruway, North to Exit 23. At Exit 23,
get on I-787 North to Route 7 East. Follow directions to campus (below).
From the North:
Take I-87, the Adirondack Northway, South to Exit 7 East. Get on Route 7 headed Eastbound. Follow directions to campus (below).
From the East:
From I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike, Berkshire Spur of the New York
Thruway), take Exit B1. Continue East (13.5 miles) to the exit for
I-787. Take I-787 North to Route 7 East. Follow directions to campus
(below).
From the West:
Take I-90, the New York State Thruway, to Exit 24. From Exit 24,
continue onto I-90 East. Exit onto I-787 North. Take I-787 North to
Route 7 East. Follow directions to campus (below).
Directions to Campus:
From Route 7 East, make a right turn on to 15th Street. Follow 15th
Street about 1/2 mile to campus. Once you're at the campus, you can
park in the Visitors Information Center parking lot located just past
the pedestrian bridge on your left. If you are visiting the Admissions
Office, parking is available behind the building. To get to the
Admissions Office, make a left turn at the light on Sage Avenue. The
Admissions Office is just ahead of you.
By plane or train:
If you are arriving by plane, fly into the Albany International
Airport. By train, travel to the Albany/Rensselaer Amtrak station.
Commercial taxicabs to campus are available from both locations. |
