Fearsome Fridays is a role playing game night at Active Imagination in Albuquerque, NM. We are offering the Living Forgotten Realms (LFR) 4th edition campaign for all Judges and Players who wish to attend. There is no charge for playing in any LFR games, and our Judges volunteer their time to run these games.
LFR year 1 and 2 adventures are designed around 4 level increments 1-4, 4-7, 7-10..., and the character you are playing has to fall within the adventure's level span. In order to play a level 4-7 adventure your character has to be level 4, 5, 6 or 7. If your character's level is on the border of two groups it can play in either group. For example a 4th level character can play a level 1-4 adventure or a 4-7 level adventure.
Year 3 LFR adventures follow a different level structure than year 1 & 2 adventures. Year 3 adventures cover an entire tier either Heroic or Paragon tier and the encounters are based on even numbered levels (2,3,6,8 and 10). There can only be a three level difference between the highest and lowest level character at the table. The table can't choose an APL more than three levels higher than the lowest character level at the table. For more informatiom about LFR go to Living Forgotten Realms website.
We use the scheduling option on this site to organize the LFR events that are offered. This helps us know how many Judges are needed for that night. If you are interested in participating in a LFR game please sign up for the game of your choice on by choosing �signup�. If you are signed up and for some reason cannot make the game, please remove yourself from the game so someone else may sign up for that game. You do this by going to the game that you signed up for, clicking on "sign up", and then you'll see an option for "leave open". Check that box and click Save, and you'll no longer be in the list of attending players. Signups are on a first come first serve basis and any walk ins that night are also on a first come first serve basis. The only exception to walk ins is that our Judges who volunteer their time are given preference if they are a walk in that night.
Living Forgotten Realms events are designed to run in 4 hour blocks. We need to be ready to start the game promptly at 7pm so that we may finish at a reasonable time. Therefore we ask all Judges and Players to be on time and ready to start at 7pm. If someone who has not signed up is not there by 7:05pm we will start seating the walk ins for that night per RPGA guidelines. If you are running late please contact Active Imagination to let us know to hold your spot for you.
