10/10/07 ANNOUNCEMENT
In the past, there have been problems with players
no-showing on Monday nights. Unfortunately, this has
led to very late start times, rearrangement of tables
and APL's, and even the breaking of tables and the
sending of players home.
To help prevent this, Endgame Oakland RPGA has house
rules regarding participation. We hope that it will
lead to a great gaming experience for everyone.
Walk-ins are ALWAYS welcome. Though signing up for a
game is VERY helpful in premustering tables, if you're
not sure you will be able to attend, consider walking
in. We will always try our best to fit you in a
table (bring characters for multiple APL's!).
If a player knows that s/he is going to be late for a
game, even if they are on a waitlist, please call Endgame to notify us that you are
going to be late and approximately when you'll arrive
ready to play. E-mail also works before 5:00p.
Failing that:
-- The first time a player is either 10 minutes late
without notice or is a no-show, a private verbal warning
will be given;
-- For a second offense within 1 month, the player will
be delisted from warhorn for 4 game sessions.
However, s/he is still strongly encouraged to
participate as a walk-in. Proven attendance after the
penalty period will lead to reinstating their warhorn
privileges;
-- For a third offense within 3 months, the player will
be suspended from all Endgame Oakland RPGA game play for 3
months, and RPGA penalty reporting will be initiated.
Proven attendance for three months after the penalty
period _can_ lead to the reinstatement of their
warhorn privileges, but it is not guaranteed.
Again, this is meant to address past problems with
attendance and how it has affected other players at
Endgame. We hope that this leads to a better
experience for all.
Thanks!
