Craggnarok is Buffalo State Colleges one day convention focusing on Gaming and Anime. Hosted by CRAGG, Commuter Concil, NTSO, and IPA all this events proceeds will be donated to Child's Play, a charity that buys toys for children's hospitals all over the world to raise their spirits in their times of need. Craggnarok will be specifically donating to Women and Children's hospital of Western New York. For more information about Child's Play goto http://www.childsplaycharity.org/index.php

Child's Play Donations

This year we're asking for people to donate money for a good cause but we want to give you something for your hard earned cash. What we're asking is $5, paid at the registration desk, when you arrive at Craggnarok on March 19th. For that we'll accept your preregistration and you can't be bumped from your game due to demand. If you don't pay $5 then your spot is not solidified and if there are 12 people who want to play and only 3 spots for a game your interested in you might not get to play as we use a random dice mechanic to decide who's in and who isn't. I think that's pretty reasonable. Don't you think that's reasonable? If you don't I don't wanna hear it because your a cheapskate. It's for the kids man!! FOR THE KIDS!!!!

How to Register

Step 1 - Click on the Register to attend link at the top of the page.

Step 2 - Fill out the areas, you can ignore the notes section, and click the register button at the bottom. You should jump back to the event overview page and have a message that says success in green lettering.

The Charity Raffle

Sorry. Got a little crazy up there. Now if you aren't interested in paying the measly $5 for the prereg stuff, or even if you are, there's a raffle where some of the CRAGGanites have stretched their creative muscles and delved into their geek collections to provide everything from gaming books and dice to chain mail jewelry and magic decks. So throw down a few bucks, grab some tickets, and throw in for what your interested in. Once again all the money goes to Child's Play. For the kids man. Do it for the kids.

Now that I'm done preaching for the kids I can tell you about some of the highlights of the day. There's gonna be a Super Smash Brothers Tournament throw down, a visit from the one of the local chapters of Dagohir, a LARP group with a more combat focus (Think foam weapons), a LAN set up for all your computer gaming needs (Bring your own computer) and the highlight of the day, Armcannon, a highly regarded video game music rock band.

Big Events

Arm Cannon Concert - 8:00 in the assembly hall (2nd floor of the student union). The show is free to all. For more information on Arm Cannon go to http://armcannon.com/

Zombie LASH (Live Action Survival Horror) - Survive a zombie apocalypse scenario using Nerf guns and foam swords or be a zombie and try and eat some brains.
