CON NOOGA is Chattanooga's first and only Multi-Fandom (Multiple Genre) Convention covering everything from Celebrities, Artists, Authors, Film Makers, Sci-Fi, Horror, Anime, Comics, Paranormal, Costuming, Concerts, Shows, Contests, Gaming, Console Gaming, Seminars, Workshops, Families, and Fun. Not to mention the numerous DEALERS, and EXHIBITORS in our 15,000 Square Foot Exhibitor Hall. Over 100+ Special Guests, dealers and fan groups help to make Con Nooga complete.

As you arrive aboard this Victorian- embellished dining car, a maitre d' will seat you at a special table. This restaurant is perfect for couples desiring a romantic dinner or friends sharing an intimate evening. The renovated train car is located along our formal gardens for a spectacular view. The gourmet menu will satisfy your taste for fine foods. The Dinner in the Diner is open for dinner only on Friday and Saturday nights, and reservations are suggested. Gardens Restaurant
Relax in the center of lush green plants and enjoy the view of the formal gardens. The Gardens is located off the dome lobby, and is a full service restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Station House Dinner Theater

Transportation
Free Shuttle Service to Downtown Restaraunts and Attractions
It's a FREE ride! Electric buses run daily* about every 5 minutes from the Chattanooga Choo Choo to the Tennessee Aquarium with stops every block in between. Convenient access to the attractions, convention center, shopping, hotels & employment sites in the Downtown area. All Shuttle buses are wheelchair accessible. In service since 1992, CARTA’s Downtown Shuttle service has recorded over 11.3 million passenger trips. The quiet, environmentally friendly, electric buses have run more than 1.9 million miles saving an estimated 65 tons of pollutants.

Horse and Carriage Rides
Chattanooga Horse Trams provides 30-minute carriage rides from the Choo Choo to Miller Park and back. Longer excursions are also available. You can ask a driver about current rates and times of departure. If you love horses or want to indulge yourself in a romantic ride, this carriage ride is a must! 2 Guys and a Dream! That's how it all began on a day in 2006. In 2007 we made steps to bring the dream of a Multi-Fandom Convention together when 4 guys agreed it was possible... by working w/ the fans and fan groups Con Nooga was formed late 2007. Chattanooga has so much tourism and things to offer people we decided the central location (2 hours from Atlanta, Birmingham, Nashville, Knoxville made it the best choice- and plus it's our home!)
We wanted a family friendly convention during the day and a convention that included everything we enjoyed, our families enjoyed and plus things that combined together to make it fun for everyone. Crazy and impossible... but worth a try!
A year later Con Nooga was born and was attended by numerous, celebrities, fans, groups, exhibitors, gamers, and more as they converged on Chattanooga, Tennessee. Our first year was able to capture 1,000 people all ready to be a part of Con Nooga! A Fan Ran Convention that works with fans, guests, and other cons so we can possible provide the best entertainment value! By listening and taking suggestions from these groups, is the only way to make us better. So in other words, we love suggestions, ideas, and welcome one and all to be a part of Con Nooga!
In our second year - we brought even more fans together with bigger events, programming, and a good time for all. As we toppled 1,600 people in attendance. In 2010 we maintained if not grew some more as the convention came real close to selling out the entire Choo Choo - Heading into 2011 the team continues to push, beat, bang and pull together to bring more fun and mayhem to Con Nooga in 2011... and who knows where we can go from there?
