Games are open to everyone
- To join please register and sign-up for the games you wish to play. Use the form to fill out which game you'd like to play in and what level and character type you plan on bringing. There is limited seating for each game. Games fill up on a first-come, first-served basis. However if all of the games are full, go ahead and sign-up for the waitlist and if there are enough people waitlisted, we'll see about getting another table set up.
- If you'd like to DM instead of playing, great! Go ahead and sign up in the judge slot and shoot us an e-mail with the details of what you'd like to run. Extra DMs are always appreciated, so thanks for volunteering!
Living Forgotten Realms
- Living Forgotten Realms (or LFR for short) is a regionalized organized play Living campaign. Players create characters and assign them to a specific region set in the Forgotten Realms. Characters can be played in any LFR adventure that supports their levels of play, anywhere. As your character plays adventures, it earns experience points, gold, and magic items which stay with you from game to game. There are dozens of unique adventures each year!
- Each adventure listed has a level range. You will need to bring a character within the appropriate level range. See the RPGA character creation guidelines for more information.
The Brothers Hearthammer
- So we've started up an Adventuring Company of dwarven brothers. This was set-up mostly to tease a particular DM, but who knows where we'll go with it. Anyway, in case anyone else would like to join the adventuring company, listed below are the guidelines for creating your own Hearthammer brother
- Regular Brother - Mum and Dad Hearthammer aren't considered epic level for their adventuring alone, so there is always room for another Hearthammer brother. If you would like to create a new character to be one, he must fit all of the criteria listed below.
- Must be a male dwarf.
- First name must be unique and end with the suffix "drick." See below for a listing of all of the brothers (names already taken).
- Last name must be "Hearthammer."
- Must be trained in Endurance.
- Must have a healthy interest in ale.
- Home Region must be East Rift. Note: you can still take background benefits from any other region, and you may want to anyway to train in Endurance.
- Other Clan Member (sister, cousin, etc.) - The Hearthammer family is a large one, and this applies to its extended family as well. If you would like to join in the Hearthammer fun, but are looking for less-strict rules for joining, follow the guidelines listed below. Note: you can also use these guidelines to adapt an existing character to the Hearthammer fold.
- Must be a dwarf.
- Last name may be "Hearthammer," but only if you choose to create a Hearthammer sister. (Dad didn't have any brothers.)
- Must be trained in Endurance.
- Must have a healthy interest in ale.
- Current Hearthammer brothers (in approximate order of age): Goldrick, Adrick, Fiddrick, Rodrick, Dardrick, Slidrick, Kildrick, Eldrick, Nimhdrick, Yurdrick, Randrick, Baldrick, Deaddrick, Madrick, Gladrick. Other family members: Gertrude Ruffer (cousin).
Location
- We meet at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), located at: 11100 Johns Hopkins Road, Laurel, Maryland 20723. APL offers their main lobby cafeteria as public rooms for Howard County. We have reserved this space for our Gaming Sessions.

- Park in any of the available parking spaces nearby Building 1 (not the visitor lot). Parking spaces start to open around 5pm at the close of work hours, so there should be plenty of spaces.
- The Howard County Public Room is located in Building 1 (the main building, closest to Sanner Road and John Hopkins Road). On the map view, it is the Building directly above the half-circle drive.
- Use the main entrance to Building 1. Directly ahead is the security desk. The cafeteria is located to the Right.
- You may bring refreshments (food and/or drink). The cafeteria is closed so there will be no vending machines available. No Alcoholic Beverages permitted.
