CoastCon is Mississippi's oldest and largest science fiction, fantasy and gaming convention. It is the main sponsored event of CoastCon, Inc., a non-profit literary organization run by a ten-member volunteer board who give their time during the year to develop events and gatherings to promote reading, education, fellowship, and science fiction, fantasy and gaming in all formats across the Southern United States. The organization and its convention have been thriving in the region for over thirty-four years. |

Venue/Lodging
The CoastCon hotel is the Quality Inn Biloxi, right down the road from the Coliseum! The convention rate is $85 a night + tax. The deadline for the convention rate is January 31st, 2012.

Community
Media guests for this year are Lindsey Wagner (star of The Bionic Woman and current guest on Warehouse 13) and Patricia Tallman (of Babylon 5 fame). Timothy Zahn (The Thrawn Trilogy of Star Wars novels, among others) is our author guest and Jon Leitheusser and Steve Kenson of Green Ronin are the Gaming Guests for this year.
