CharCon is THE West Virginia Gaming Convention held at the Charleston House Hotel in downtown Charleston, WV Oct. 21-23, 2011.
These are just a few of the many, many events to look forward to at CharCon !
The Premier Board Game Tournament – Info is coming soon.
Board game library – Each year the Appalachian Gamers bring games to the convention for use by other attendees. There is also plenty of space for open gaming so bring your favorite game, find some players and get your game on!
RPGs – There will be a variety RPGs at this year's convention. We have game masters running D&D 4th Edition, RPGA events, SciFi themed games, Superhero events and many others.
LARPs – LARP info is coming soon.
Miniatures – Flames of War, Warhammer 40k, Warhammer Fantasy, Aerodrome, Sailpower and many more events will be available for play at this year's convention.

Venue/Lodging
Our featured hotel is of course The Charleston House. Since that is also the venue for CharCon in 2011, you definitely want to reserve your room there. With late night activities leading into an early morning schedule, everyone needs a room. And you will be just a convenient elevator ride away from the convention areas!
The Charleston House is located right on Kanawha Blvd. overlooking the Kanawha River. It was formerly a Holiday Inn and is scheduled to assume the Ramada Inn brand in the future. Anyone who has attended Regatta or any other events on the Blvd. should be familiar with this hotel.
