CatchupCon
2008
CatchupCon is
the premiere event in this area of the southeast every December. It's
the last chance for us to play those last few games that we just
haven't been able to get anywhere else. Catchup 2008 is going to be a
mix of Living Forgotten Realms, Living Greyhawk, and Pathfinder.

Living
Forgotten Realms
This con
will offer all of the Living Forgotten Realms mods available for play
up to this point - so this is a great time to dive into the Realms!
If you're not familiar with LFR, it's a D&D 4th Edition shared game
world. People literally all over the world play it, and unlike with
your local home game, you can take your character, as-is and go play
with them. Fun at big cons, meeting new people, good stuff. Wizards of
the Coast has a whole group of people dedicated to putting out FREE
adventures for you to play and making sure you have fun doing it. Of
course, there are a few rules. Think of them as your "house rules" that
a GM might lay down for a new campaign. (Websites below.)
The campaign is still very new (it just started in August) so most
people have first through fourth level characters - so this is a great
time to start playing. The mods we're featuring are great for 1st level
characters - so newcomers are very welcome!

NOTE - We still do not have mods for
CORE1-4 and TYMA1-2.
If these mods are not released before the con, we will have to
substitute them with something else.
Pathfinder
Society - NEW!
The Pathfinder
Society is Paizo’s new organized play product that debuted at GenCon
2008. It takes place in Paizo’s campaign setting world of Golarion. For
this first year of the campaign, standard 3.5 Dungeons & Dragons
rules are used. Next year the campaign will upgrade to Paizo’s
“PathfinderRPG” rules, commonly being referred to as “3.75” rules,
which are fully backwards-compatible with the 3.5 rules. Campaign
information can be found at http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety
follow the link there to download the Guide to Pathfinder Society
Organized Play for character creation rules. We will also have fastplay
characters available. If you have questions about Pathfinder, or
would like to play a slot zero and GM Pathfinder, please contact Kristi
at feathin at arcadecontrols dot com.
Living
Greyhawk
We will
offer all of the Gran March year sevens and year eights (in order), as
well as all of the Core year eights, and a selection of Sheldomar mods.
Given the uncertain interest in LG mods, please note that tables that
are not making will be cancelled a few weeks before the con.
Registration is
Closed!
If you want to just show up at the con and hope to pay, you can pay
with PayPal or cash on site. A one day pass is $25, a two day
pass is $35, and a 3 day pass is $40. If you want to GM, these fees
will be reduced or waived. There is no guarantee that there will be
room for you to play.
Schedule
We will play three games on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Scheduled
games are subject to change pending the availability of mods, GMs,
players, or other elements.
