Cape Comic Con has been announced, and Siera Phoenix is bringing the gaming in a big way!
Con hours will be Friday April 20th, 4pm to 11pm, Saturday April 21st 10am to 11pm, and Sunday April 22nd 11am to 5pm. Not only will there be the great vendors you’ve come to expect, as well as appearances by some of the industries biggest names, but we’ll be having a great selection of casual and competitive gaming events for all!
Following is a list of the preplanned events:
Friday Night Magic, April 20th, starting at 6pm, $5 entry*
A $2.5k Standard MTG tournament, April 21st, starting at 12pm, $30 entry
A Legacy MTG tournament, April 21st, starting at 4pm, $20 entry
A Heroclix Modern Age Tournament ran by Hour of the Dragon, April 21st, starting at 6pm, $20 entry
A $500 Draft, April 22nd, starting at 12pm, $30 entry
*Con entry is not required for the FNM, we will have it at the Osage Center, but separate from the Cape Comic Con.
Cape Comic Con entry is required for any of our events, aside from the aforementioned FNM.
On top of all the planned events, river city ogres pathfinder society will be running Pathfinder Society games, and there will be additional pick up tournaments and “kill for a pack” EDH 4 man pods!
As a convenience to all our gamers we also have some great package deals to get you into the Con and our events! If you are interested in checking out all the cool artists and vendors the Con has to offer, the rate is $5 a day or $10 for the whole weekend. From there we created some awesome bundle deals to get you into the Con and save on our events!
It’s important to note each deal INCLUDES a weekend long pass!
If you want to hit the Con and play some Pathfinder we have a badge for you, all weekend you’ll be hitting the Con and the RPG tables for only 15 dollars!
We also have a deal for the Heroclix players who want to have some free play before the tournament, and that is for 15 dollars you can attend the whole weekend and get in as many clix games with your friends as you want!
Alright Magic players, say you only want to be in one of the big $30 entry, cash prize events, well for $35 dollars you’ll have weekend long access and entry to either the standard tournament or the draft!
Lastly, we couldn’t forget about our ultimate gamers out there! For the Gamer who has to have it all and do it all, we have the ultimate package available! $65 bucks gets you into our 2 cash prize MTG tournaments, all the free play Heroclix you can stand, and all the Pathfinder Society you can pack into the weekend! Not to mention access again to the awesome vendors, artists, and fun contests of the Comic Con!
We will be selling the badges through a preorder system, as well as at the door. Badges are available at http://www.cape-con.com/ in addition to Siera Phoenix Gaming (Poplar Bluff, MO) and Hour of the Dragon Comics (Sikeston, MO).
