Anime Conji is run by a group of local San Diego fans who have volunteered their time and
effort toward putting together a great and unique convention. We have an interest in providing
entertainment for likeminded individuals. Who better to bring the fun than fans themselves? Our
goal is to promote fandom culture as a whole and to foster the subculture of anime fandom in San Diego and beyond.
Anime Conji is sponsored by the San Diego Speculative Fiction Society (SanSFiS), which is a
volunteer-run 501(c)(3) educational non-profit corporation. SanSFiS runs various events and
conventions and provides information about science fiction and fantasy related fan activities. To
