Come and take a break from the cold weather with some hot plasma-powered gaming starting from 8 a.m.-Midnight, Saturday, December 6th 2008, at Oakland Center on the campus of Oakland University.
WinterCon 2008 is scheduled for 8 a.m.-Midnight, Saturday Dec. 6, 2008. It will be held at the fabulous Oakland Center on the campus of Oakland University. This venue features wide-open gaming rooms with plenty of well-lit table space, easy access, plentiful parking and some nice amenities such as fireplace lounge, computer access terminals, the Bumpers Game Room (with 42-inch screen for video games, pool tables, etc.). For those of you not familiar with WinterCon, this is the "little cousin" convention to our main summer event called Michicon. So come on out and forget your troubles while you game with some of the area's finest gamemasters and players. Please click on the Wintercon Event Links to see our current lineup of events. Transportation
WinterCon will take place at the Oakland Center on the Campus of Oakland University. The simplest way to get here is to drive on I-75 towards exit 79. This is the University dr./ Rochester exit. Take University dr east for about 2 mi. It will end at N Squirrel rd, with an enterence to Oakland University. Once on campus, head north on Meadowbrook Rd. The Oakland Center will be on your right (east). |
