Wicked Harvest Atlanta 2008 Wicked Harvest 2008

Witch Hunter is gathering steam! It's one of the hottest new roleplaying games, and the Dark Providence living campaign continues to expand and provide exciting adventures.  Wicked Harvest is the premiere worldwide event for the Dark Providence campaign setting.

We will be present a one-time-only special interactive event on Friday night.  This is a combination of a social and tactical interactive - costumes are strongly encouraged.  We will also be premiering three brand-new adventures.  Additionally, there will be a variety of intros on Friday (for new players) and a chance to play almost every adventure that has already premiered this year.

What Is Witch Hunter Dark Providence?
Dark Providence is a shared game world that uses the Witch Hunter - Invisible World game system.  This is a high roleplaying, non D20 system put out by Paradigm Concepts.  The game is set in the 1690s in colonial America, the Carribean, and Europe where the PCs are battling the dark and sinister agents of evil.  A living campaign means that people literally all over the world play it, and unlike with your local home game, you can take your character, as-is and go play with them. Events are played locally in people's homes, at game days, at small conventions (like Wicked Harvest), and at big conventions (like DragonCon, Origins, and GenCon).  Paradigm Concepts has a whole group of people dedicated to putting out FREE adventures for you to play and making sure you have fun doing it. Of course, there are a few rules. Think of them as your "house rules" that a GM might lay down for a new campaign. (Websites below.)

Registration is Open!
You can actually register for the convention now. A one day pass is $20.  A two day pass is $30.  A three day pass is $35.  Once you have paid, you can then register for your slots.  If you want to GM, these fees will be reduced or waived.  Contact the coordinator at scorpienne at gmail dot com for details.

The Fine Print (blah, blah, blah...)
You will have to pay your registration fee before you sign up for games. No refunds will be given for people who cancel, withdraw, or fail to show up at the game day after registration closes.  The coordinator does not guarantee walk-ups or people who register after registration is closed the opportunity to play. If there are open seats, they will preferentially go to preregistered players first. Preregistration is strongly encouraged.  Registration will probably close one or two weeks before the event.  The coordinator does not guarantee premustered groups the opportunity to play together. Players will have the opportunity to muster themselves. If they cannot, then the coordinator or her representatives will muster the players. Be open to the possibility that you will play with some interesting new people.
