RoundCon is a gaming convention held annually in Columbia, South Carolina usually in the spring over a three day weekend. The convention offers a wide variety of RPG gaming (including RPGA events), board gaming, anime viewing's, and much more. Rumors and scuttlebutt have been abound regarding the future of RoundCon. After extensive searching RoundCon is fortunate to have found a location to hold a late-year event!
RoundCon 2009, the "Better Late Than Never Edition" will be held during the first weekend of October this year; the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of the month at the Holiday Inn Express-Fort Jackson.
We are working now to finalize events for the convention. Game Masters are welcome to begin submitting their own games at this time by visiting the members section. Pre-registration for RoundCon 2009 is also open. The pre-registration rate is $20 for the weekend until September 25 when the rate will increase to $25 until pre-registration closes. RoundCon depends on the support of our members and for our members to stay at the hotel. We advise members to stay at the hotel; if all room in our block are sold we will be able to offer all night gaming and other events.

Venue/Lodging
RoundCon 2009 will take place at the Holiday Inn Express just off I-77 on Garners Ferry Road in Columbia. This Holiday Inn offers spacious rooms, an indoor pool, convenience shoppe, and more. For more information about the hotel please visit their website.
Reservations
If you are wanting to stay at the hotel during the convention please call the hotel to make your reservation. When calling the hotel make sure to ask for Alex Lee; she will be handling reservations for all RoundCon members. If Alex is unavailable please leave a message and she will call you back.
If you like you may e-mail Alex with your information and she will contact you back. Please inform her if you require a single king sized bed or double queen sized. |
