This year we will be returning to the Best Western Ashbury Hotel & Suites. We would like to thank them for their continued support of our convention and for their enthusiasm. This will be their fifth year hosting MOBICON. The Ashbury features an indoor and outdoor pool, plenty of convention space, a lobby bar, a restaurant, and lots of free parking. Don't forget to mention MOBICON for special rates: $73.00 a night for regular room, $85.00 a night for deluxe room, and $107.00 a night for a 800 sq-ft 2 room suite which includes a microwave and refrigerator. All room rates are based on single or double occupancy. There is an additional $5 charge for each additional person. The room rates include a hot buffee breakfast. |

Transportation
To get to the Ashbury Hotel & Suites, get on I-65 heading to Mobile. Then, get off on the Airport Blvd. exit and head west. Take the first right onto S. Beltline Hwy. The hotel will be on the left. Last year a courtesy van from airport was available. Call the hotel to verify for this year. |

Mobicon is proud to announce The Bay Area Food Bank has been selected as this year's charity! The Bay Area Food Bank's mission statement reads:
The Bay Area Food Bank, working through member organizations and special programs, will provide nutritious food to meet the challenge of feeding people who are hungry as a result of personal crisis or disaster. The Bay Area Food Bank will educate the public regarding domestic hunger, proper nutrition and related issues.
The Bay Area Food Bank, a member of The United Way and America's Second Harvest, is a nonprofit organization 501(c)(3), privately operated, which solicits, collects, stores, and distributes edible surplus food. They serve a 21 county service area which includes the eight southern-most counties in Mississippi, all of Coastal Alabama and the four western Counties in the Florida Panhandle; the area from DeFuniak Springs, Florida to the Mississippi/Lousiana state line.They serve over 650 charitable, nonprofit tax-exempt organizations that provide food without charge to the ill, needy, children, elderly, and homeless.
