LFR Game Day
WEEKEND
IN THE REALMS
Living
Forgotten Realms Special Event
We are
organizing a Living Forgotten Realms (LFR) game day. We will be running
a special module called "Beneath Haunted Halls" by Matt Sernett. This
module is special in the sense that it can only be run during
October 24-26 and will be running simultaneously all over the world
(like the D&D World Wide Game Day). This module is
a 3-part module that we are running in two 5-hour rounds. Details will
follow as they are known. Additionally, we will offer a selection of
other new LFR mods. You'll have an option of a lot of mods that aren't
available at DragonCon, and a bunch of mods good for first level
characters.
If you're not familiar with LFR, it's a D&D 4th Edition shared game
world. People literally all over the world play it, and unlike
with your local home game, you can take your character, as-is and go
play with them. Fun at big cons, meeting new people, good
stuff. Wizards of the Coast has a whole group of people dedicated
to putting out FREE adventures for you to play and making
sure you have fun doing it. Of course, there are a few
rules. Think of them as your "house rules" that a GM might lay
down for a new campaign. (Websites below.)
The campaign is still very new (it just started in August) so most
people have first, second, or third level characters - so this is a
great time
to
start playing.

Fine
Print - Blah, Blah, Blah...
You will have to pay your registration fee before you sign up
for games. No refunds will be given for people who cancel, withdraw, or
fail to show up at the game day after registration closes.
The coordinator does not guarantee walk-ups or people who register
after registration is closed the opportunity to play. If there are open
seats, they will preferentially go to preregistered players first.
Preregistration is strongly encouraged.
Registration will probably close one or two weeks before the event.
The coordinator does not guarantee premustered groups the opportunity
to play together. Players will have the opportunity to muster
themselves. If they cannot, then the coordinator or her representatives
will muster the players. Be open to the possibility that you will play
with some interesting new people.
