Het nieuwe en fantastische evenement I-Con wordt gehouden op 16-18 Januari 2009 in en rond De Pelibar en het Duivelsnest in Leiden. Aangezien er avonturen worden gespeeld voor zowel level 1-4 als voor level 4-7 en zelfs een Special, is deze con iets wat je echt niet wilt missen!
Met een totaal van 5 timeslots verdeeld over drie dagen zit er zeker een tijd bij die ook voor jou goed uitkomt. Schrijf je nu in, want het aantal plaatsen in gelimiteerd!

The new and amazing I-Con will be held from January 16 to 18 at Het Duivelsnest in Leiden (situated at the Pelikaanhof). Since there will be both low- and high-level adventures as well as a Special, this event is something you don't want to miss! As an added bonus you'll meet a whole bunch of other D&D lovers like yourself.

Venue/Lodging
In de nabijheid van het Duivelsnest/Pelikaanhof zijn nagenoeg geen leuke hotels of pensions te vinden. Het makkelijkste en goedkoopste alternatief is een slaapplaats vragen bij een van de vele duivelsei-spelers die het event zullen bijwonen. Velen hebben een eigen studentenkamer of wonen zelfs nog bij hun ouders, waar het bijzetten van een bed een kleine moeite is. Mocht je genoeg budget hebben voor een hotelkamer, zoek dan via hotels.nl naar beschikbaarheid in Leiden.

There are no hotels or pensions in the direct vicinity of the Devilnest. The easiest and cheapest alternative is to ask for a place to sleep at the home of one of the many Duivelsei-members who will be attending this event. If you don't mind sleeping in a student room or on the couch at a parents' home, this is the most viable option. If you have enough budget for a hotelroom (you could always split the costs with friends), check hotels.nl for available hotels in Leiden. |

Transportation
Via openbaar vervoer (station Leiden Centraal):
Beide bus 15 richting Leiderdorp Leyhof en bus 17 richting Leiderdorp Brandwacht komen langs het Duivelsnest. Uitstappen bij halte Pelikaanstraat en je staat pal voor het Pelikaanhof. Het Duivelsnest bevind zich rechtsachter in het hofje (schuin omlaag de kelder in).
Mocht je willen lopen, dan kost dit je ongeveer een 15-20 minuten. Loop vanaf het station rechtdoor de Stationsstraat in richting Beestenmarkt. Loop voorbij de Lido bioscoop en steek dan links de brug over, recht het winkelgebied in (Haarlemmerstraat). Volg deze straat tot aan de stoplichten, sla dan links af (Pelikaanstraat). Je komt nu langs de Game Mania. Sla bij het bushokje links af en je staat op de Pelikaanhof. Rechts achter de schans af en je bent in het Duivelsnest.
Kom je met de auto, parkeer deze dan in parkeergarage Haarlemmerstraat (Middelstegracht 50, achter de Albert Heijn, dagtarief 5 Euro, op loopafstand van de Pelikaanhof) of op parkeerterrein Haagweg (Dagtarief 6 euro met gratis pendelbusje die je naar de Pelikaanhof kan brengen)

Public Transport (from Leiden Central Station):
Take bus 15 (direction: Leiderdorp Leyhof) or bus 17 (direction Leiderdorp Brandwacht) and get off at busstop Pelikaanstraat (you can ask the driver to warn you when he gets there). The busstop is located directly in front of the Pelikaanhof. You'll find the Devilnest in the far right corner, down the ramp into the basement.
By foot (15-20 minutes). Exit the trainstation in the direction of the city center (Stationsstraat), you'll pass the Lido cinema on your right hand. Go left across the bridge and straight into the shopping street (Haarlemmerstraat). Keep following the street until you reach a pedestrian crossing with trafficlights. Go left here (Pelikaanstraat) and turn left again at the busstop to enter the Pelikaanhof. You'll find the Devil's nest in the far right corner, down the ramp into the basement.
By car: Park at the parkinggarage Haarlemmerstraat (address: Middelstegracht 50, behind the Albert Heijn supermarket, day ticket 5 euro, within walking distance of the Pelikaanhof) or at the parkingterrain Haagweg (day ticket 6 euro with free busservice to and from the city center, tell the driver to drop you off at the Pelikaanhof)
