You know all of those game books and box sets that you have setting in the closet or tucked away on a shelf or packed away in your storage locker? You know the ones about which you always said "I wouldn't mind playing this once or twice" but you have never had the time (or the gumption or the available players) to fire up a game? Well, this is the event for you. GMs will be allotted a 4 hour window in which to run a game that they possibly have never run before (or have rarely had a chance to run or haven't run in a long time) for a group of players that have probably never played it before (not that anyone will be banned if they have!) That way you have an inexperienced or rusty GM running a game for players who are likely seeing a system for the first time with everyone just doing their best to have a good time, try out a new system and make a few new friends in the process. Games hosted will mostly be independent or out of print systems that you might otherwise never have gotten a chance to play. I will post updates on the SOGG Yahoo!
