Come join us for the thirty-first Council of Five Nations, Upstate New York's long-running gaming convention. The con will be Columbus Day Weekend, October 10-12, 2008 at the Proctor's Conference Center in downtown Schenectady, NY. We'll have over 100 events including board games, role-playing games, historical and SF/Fantasy miniatures, a "Rated Ace" Star Fleet Battles Patrol tournament, and a Game Auction.

Venue/Lodging

Parker Inn. $114 per night. Connected to Proctors Conference Center. Rooms very limited. Nice.

Hampton Inn. $129 per night. Right up the block from Proctors. Nice.

Days Inn. $68+ per night. Less than a half-mile from Proctors. Economy option.

Transportation

Greyhound- there is a Greyhound bus station about a half mile from the convention. You can either get a cab from there, or walk east on Rt. 5/State Street for .4 mile (per Google Maps) and the Conference Center will be on the right.

Amtrak- there is an Amtrak station just over .2 miles away. If you don't take a cab, walk forward to the street (Erie Blvd) and turn left to face State Street. Walk the rest of the block to State Street, cross it, then turn left again and walk not quite two blocks (and back under the train tracks) and the Conference Center will be on the left.
